Neda's journey in music began with her deep-rooted passion and an unyielding desire to explore the depths of her artistic potential. Guided by an unwavering commitment to excellence, Neda honed her skills through rigorous training and immersing herself in the rich tapestry of musical education. She learned Iranian Classical vocal technique under some of the revered masters of this art form in Iran. After relocating to the United States in 2012, her musical pursuits expanded to include the exploration of Western classical music. Nurtured by a distinguished voice professor, Barbara Clark at Rice University, she developed her skills and artistry, effortlessly bridging the worlds of oriental and occidental musical traditions.
Following her unyielding determination to her art, Neda obtained her master’s degree with honors in music performance, specializing in Vocal Performance, from St. Thomas University in Houston, Texas. Alongside her passion for music, she holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and works as a professional engineer, demonstrating her multidisciplinary prowess.
Throughout her musical journey, Neda has graced the stages of opera productions, solo recitals, and concerts. Neda's musical collaborations extend beyond traditional boundaries, as she fearlessly delves into the realm of world music. Blending her roots with diverse cultures and musical styles, she collaborates with fellow musicians to create captivating fusions of classical music, jazz improvisation, and experimental sounds.
Currently, Neda is passionately working on her debut album, featuring lyrical songs inspired by contemporary Iranian poetry. With each composition, she aims to create an immersive experience, allowing listeners to embark on a journey of emotions, finding solace, joy, sorrows, and the profound meaning of emotions.
